Berlin Transportation hires human resource specialist

MILLERSBURG, OH – Berlin Transportation, a commercial
trucking and distribution company, today announced its
newest member of the team, Brenda Wengerd. Brenda, the
wife of company vice-president Ken Wengerd, joins other
Wengerd family members who make up the leadership team
of Berlin Transportation and its associated companies.
According to Berlin Transportation President Tom Wengerd,
Brenda fills a much-needed human resource position. “Our
employees are our most valuable resource,” said Wengerd. “We
want to make sure that we are meeting their needs in terms
of their employment and their safety on the road or in
our facilities.”
Brenda assumes her new position beginning
June 2005. In addition to her human resource responsibilities,
Brenda
will assist Chief Financial Officer Marlin Wengerd and
Traffic Coordinator Marilyn Wengerd.
